An earthquake has struck in the Hunter Valley on Tuesday.
Geoscience Australia says the 2.9 magnitude quake hit to the south of Singleton near Glencore’s Bulga Open Cut Mine at Mount Thorley at a depth of three kilometres just before 9am.
At this stage there are no reports of any damage or injuries as a result.
