A major re -development is set to get underway at Hamilton South’s Darling street oval.
The $3 million dollar face-lift will include female friendly change rooms, improved disability access, formal off street car parking and a new grandstand with seating for more than 300 football fans.
Existing amenities will also be re furbished.
The project is a joint venture between the City of Newcastle, State and Federal Governments and Newcastle Olympic Football Club.
The works are expected to be completed by December 2023.
