A large scale search is now underway for missing Lake Macquarie woman, Ashley Bates who hasn’t been seen since Wednesday.
The 37-year-old was last spotted at a home in Whitebridge, but police became involved after she failed to contact her family.
Ashly’s mobile phone was then found by a member of the public near Dudley Bluff.
Police are searching the area for Ashly with the help of PolAir and the Dog Squad.
She’s described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 168cm tall with dark shoulder-length hair, a fair complexion and tattoos on the inside of her wrists.
She was last seen wearing a black long-sleeved shirt and pyjama pants.
Anyone with information about her whereabouts should contact police immediately.
