Man Faces More Charges for Supermarket Robbery

Police have hit a man with another four charges in relation to a series of supermarket robberies across the Hunter.

It’s believed the 28-year-old was part of a group that broke into stores at Tanilba Bay, Kurri Kurri and Fletcher between March 2017 and and April 2018.

He’s already been charged with a number of offences but is now facing further charges including three counts of break, enter and steal, aggravated break and enter and property damage.

He’s been granted strict conditional bail and will front Raymond Terrace Local Court today.

A 20-year-old man is also before the courts on the matter.

Investigations are continuing.
