A woman has been charged following an alleged pursuit through Lake Macquarie this morning.
Police say they tried to stop the woman for a breath test on Lake Road at Glendale around 1:30am.
It’s alleged she failed to stop and fled the scene, with officers starting a pursuit.
Police stopped the pursuit at Boolaroo a short time later.
The woman’s car was found at a home on Quarry Street, Speers Point around two hours later.
Officers arrested the 28-year-old and charged her with a number of offences including driving with an expired licence.
She’s been granted conditional bail and is expected to front Toronto Local Court on July 17.
