The mother of a Hunter toddler who died at Tarro two months ago, has been arrested over the child’s death.
It’s believed the 20-month old girl went into cardiac arrest back in June after suffering what police have described as serious internal injuries.
The 22-year-old woman was taken into custody just after 8am this morning.
She’s now been charged with manslaughter and will front court tomorrow.
It comes just a week after her former partner was arrested and charged with murder.
