Police are investigating after an alleged stabbing at Glendale yesterday.
Officers say that the two men, who are known to each other, were involved in an altercation at a unit on Clare Street around 3pm.
Its believed the 45-year-old allegedly produced a knife and stabbed the other in the torso.
The 33-year-old victim has been taken to the John Hunter Hospital and is reportedly in a stable condition.
The other man was arrested a short time later and was charged with reckless wounding.
He’s been refused bail and will front court today.
