Award-winning, Sydney-based writers Karli Evans and Kerrie Simon-Lawrence are holding a limited workshop for local women. It will be held at the Muti-Arts Pavilion) MAP mima, in Lake Macquarie.

Everyone has a story to tell, and in this workshop, Karli and Kerrie will guide you on how to craft a compelling piece of writing, based on a life-changing event you’ve experienced. It could be about anything: the first time you met the love of your life, gave birth, or had to say goodbye.

They’ll teach you how to tap into emotion, language and arm you with the techniques and know-how, to take your story from idea, to out in the real world.

Whether you want to write your memoir for your children or grandchildren, or want to perform it as a monologue, we invite you to join us at this one-day event.
