A man’s been charged following an alleged assault at a Waratah home last month.
It’s believed a 28-year-old man visited a Morpeth Street property on June 27 to see a man known to him.
Police say an argument broke out between the 28-year-old and an unknown man, who allegedly threatened him with a knife, demanded cash and assaulted him.
The incident was reported to police two days later.
Investigating officers raided the home on Wednesday afternoon, arresting a 48-year-old man.
He’s been charged with a raft of offences including take/detain in company with intent to get advantage, larceny, assault and drug possession.
