Police have now released CCTV footage of a violent assault in Newcastle, in the hopes of catching the people responsible.
About 3am on May 27, two men in their early 20s were approached by a group of men on Donald Street at Hamilton.
The pair walked away when they were assaulted by the group, who then fled the scene.
Officers have now released footage of people they’d like to speak with as part of their investigations.
