Hunt for 2 men who rammed a Hunter hairdresser, stole products


Police are investigating a ram raid at Warners Bay on Monday morning, hair products were stolen and could be sold for a profit during lead up to Christmas.

Police from Lake Macquarie Local Area Command were called to a hairdressing salon on Hillsborough Road at Warners Bay after a utility was driven through the front doors about 1.20am Monday.

Once inside the business, police believe two men have taken hair products then driven from the scene. The business was extensively damaged.

Police believe they could try and sell the products in the busy Christmas period.

Police are now appealing for anyone who can identify the vehicle depicted. It is described as being a white-colour single-cab utility with a tray back and a black stripe along the bottom of the door.
